The Sting is a thoroughbred classic with more long distance race and endurance wins to its name than any other boat, holding, amongst many others, the London to Monte Carlo record. That pedigree is one of the reasons why the twin diesel-engined Sting is widely regarded as the best RIB in the world.
The Sting’s outstanding capabilities make it an ideal leisure RIB or Superyacht tender, well appointed and comfortable. And with a range of over 400 nm you are in for some memorable adventures.
Our current line-up includes outboard and inboard engined models all sharing the unique Scorpion Sting soul which means unbeatable safety, comfort, and breath-taking performance in all conditions.
Customisation as standard
Every Scorpion is hand built to your precise requirements in our Lymington factory. All aspects of the Sting’s design, styling, build, and fit-out are accomplished by specialist in-house teams, including the manufacture of the tubes and installation of engines. Complete control over the design and build provides infinite customisation opportunities to perfectly fit your individual requirements.
Models available in the Sting Range
Sting models have a beam of 3.1m and overall length of 8m or 10m. Powered by outboard or inboard engines they are also available with Waterjet propulsion and beach landing steps.
All versions are supplied with high quality electronics and the necessary equipment to be ready for sea. They are RCD rated to Cat B Off-shore and are covered by our 2 year warranty.
